Daystar's Nike Can Wait is a 21-year-old bay connemara cross gelding standing 15 1/2 hh tall. He is Yvonne's first horse and her pride and joy. Nike is used primarily for intermediate to advanced riders but is patient enough to teach older beginner kids. He came to Yvonne as a two-year-old knowing nothing. He is her life-long riding partner. Everyone on the show circuit knows Nike, which makes Yvonne proud. Inevitably he steps off the trailer at a show and someone says "Oh Nike is here!" Nike has a freeze brand on his left hip of a four-leaf clover and an "N" in the middle. Yvonne decided on this since connemaras are originally from Ireland and he definitely has the connemara spirit. Nike loves to jump and has jumped as high as 3'6" competitively. He won circuit champion for low jumpers at Moriah horse show in 2015. He is an amazing horse and everyone that has ever gotten a chance to ride him loves him. Nike's favorite treat is watermelon which he gets every year on his birthday, and no, he doesn't share. This year he is teaching the next generation of riders to love competing at jumper shows.

Frankly, Miss Scarlett aka Scarlett is a 14hh, 17- year-old chestnut quarter horse pony. She came to us in October of 2014 from a very loving family that could not take her on their move to a different state. We have always said that if we found another pony that is as loving as Lyric we would buy her in a heartbeat. So needless to say when we got the opportunity to have her as a part of our horse family, we jumped! Scarlett can do it all, she will be patient with your little one as well as help your child excel over jumps. Scarlett won the circuit champion for puddle jumpers at Moriah horse show 2015 as well as 2017 Picturesque division end leadline with a 3-year-old rider. She is the easiest pony to learn to trot on. We have found that Scarlett's favorite treat is Nacho Cheese Doritos. It is really funny to see her muzzle covered in Dorito crumbs.

Lullabye Lyric is a 12-year-old chestnut quarter horse/welsh pony cross standing 13.2 hh tall. She came to us in February 2013 from Central Virginia Horse Rescue. She is one of the most loveable ponies you will ever meet. Lyric's favorite treat is popcorn! As of July 2019 Lyric is retired from the lesson program. She is loving life at our retirement facility in Linden.

Tawny Tiger RBR aka Ty is a 9-year-old, 14.1hh paint pony that is on lease to us. You will hear him referred around the barn as "Ty Baby." He may be the youngest but he is an old soul. Ty is very easy to ride and can teach the beginners as well as more advanced students. A lot of our beginner adults love riding him. His favorite treats are Sweet Tarts!

Farnley Chorus Girl aka Bella is a 24-year-old Dartmoor pony standing at 12.2hh. She came to us in June 2016. She is our smallest and oldest pony on the farm but definitely holds her own. Bella is a master at teaching the small children to ride. We use her primarily for little ones just starting out on up through those learning to trot. If you fall in love with her . . . get in line she has a fan club. Her favorite treats are Fig Newtons. Bella is currently on vacation at our Linden location.

Jumping Jax Jamis aka JJ is a 21-year-old, 11.3hh Welsh pony. He came to us in November 2019 for our oldest daughter's 7th birthday present. JJ's previous kid had him since he was a baby and he was her first pony. She was thrilled to pass him along to get adored by many other little girls. While it is true tiny ponies love to be naughty his love of being snuggled outweighs his naughty points. JJ's fav treat is soft peppermints.

Let the Good times Roll aka Letty is a 15-year-old, 12hh welsh cob cross pony. She came to us in 2020 from a former student who had outgrown her. Letty is on lease to us until she is ready to retire. She is a great teacher for those kids just learning to jump. Her favorite treat is apples.

Bailey's Irish Cream aka Bailey Cookie is a 13-year-old, 13 hh Welsh paint. He came to us in October of 2020 as a former pony steeplechaser. So yes, he can jump fast and high. We have taught him it is okay to slow down and enjoy the scenery. We will see how he likes the pace of the hunter show ring this year. His favorite treat is frosted animal cookies.

Conterox aka Scooby is a 10-year-old, 17.2 hh Imported German Warmblood. He came to us in August of 2020. He had not had a rider on him in 4 years when we found him and just a nervous ball of energy. He is such a talented boy and was just waiting for someone with enough patience and knowledge to help him shine. He is not available for the majority of our students because of his continued training. We hope this year he will love showing in the Adult pleasure division at some local shows. His favorite treat is ginger snaps. Scooby is for sale but we are no hurry for him to go-it has to be an offer I cannot refuse.

Tobie or not Tobie aka Tobie is an 18-year-old, 15.3 hh ranch-bred Quarter horse. He came to us in January 2021. He is a great addition to the lesson program because anyone can ride him and have a blast. Even some of our Dads have taken a turn on him.  We can't wait to see what he can do when he is back in shape. His favorite treat is oatmeal creme pies.
